LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Enjoy nature and the many wildflowers flowers you'll see on this privately owned farm. Turkey and a wide variety of birds are abundant. Watch for deer at dusk and once the sun has set, listen for coyotes calling out to one another! We have two stocked ponds for your enjoyment. 

We ask that you use a catch and release program at our ponds so that many others may enjoy the same fishing fun! For the seasoned fisherman Lake Logan, Lake Hope and Rose Lake are nearby. No matter where you travel in the picturesque county, enjoy the beauty of sights and sounds that Mother Nature has to offer, but please do not disturb her!

This is a working farm so don't be surprised to hear a cow or two bellow at feeding time or the sound of a tractor while we make hay or attend to other farm chores. If you've never spent time around a farm, feel free to ask questions!

Be sure to return to your cabin in time to take in the incredible sunsets, where the skyline includes the only remaining oil derrick in Hocking County - yep, that's it. the photo on our Best Nest Cabins cover page!

And remember - while you may not see them, there may be guests in other cabins so we ask you be respectful and keep voices and music low.
